“The poetry of Sarah Ashwood is as rewarding to read, as it must have been to write.  We get a sense of joy from the writer, which fills the reader with hope and awe.”                                                                                                                                                  —Penny Freeland

Sarah’s first publication was a fantasy poem, Spawn of Darkness, appearing in the October 2007 edition of Art and Prose. Sadly, Art and Prose no longer lives, but it was an exciting first run for a budding poet.

A fun poetry collection involving Vikings, dragons, and Genghis Kahn was picked up by Flashing Swords Press in 2008. They appeared in consecutive summer issues. Take a look at the website and the issues (volumes 10 and 11) in which they appeared:

When Kelly started her new magazine, Abandoned Towers, she submitted a poem for the first issue. Find                       here.
